These terms cover the mobile apps published by Alex Eagle (“we”, “our”, “us”), including Runes, Magick, Norse Tradition on the Apple App Store and Elder Futhark Runes & Magick on Google Play (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What the App Is
The App teaches the runes and the Norse tradition. It offers rune readings, study material, books, quizzes and a daily path.
Readings and practices are for study, reflection and entertainment. They do not predict the future. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Please do not use them in place of a qualified professional.
2. Using the App
We give you a personal right to use the App on your own devices, for your own use. This right cannot be passed to anyone else. You agree not to:
- copy, sell or share the App’s paid content
- take the App apart, or try to get around how it protects paid content
- use the App in a way that breaks the law
3. Paid Content
Some content is sold inside the App. You pay once and keep it. There is no subscription. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
Google Play or the Apple App Store takes your payment, and their own terms apply to it. We never see your card details.
Paid content is digital and is delivered at once. Where the law gives you a right to cancel within a set time, you agree that delivery starts straight away, and that this right may end once the content is delivered.
4. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you paid through, under its own rules. You can ask for one from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Paid content that is refunded is no longer available to you.
5. Restoring Purchases
The App has no account you sign in to. Your purchases belong to your Google Play or Apple account. If you reinstall the App or change phones, use “Restore purchases” in the App with the same store account. Purchases do not move between Android and iOS.
6. Who Owns the Content
The App and everything in it, including its text, pictures and design, belong to Alex Eagle or to those who licensed them. Credits are shown inside the App. Quoted old texts stay under their own terms.
7. Changes to the App
We may update the App, and may change or remove its free features. We will keep paid content you bought available for as long as we reasonably can. If we ever stop offering the App, the law and the store’s rules decide what you can claim.
8. Our Responsibility
We work to keep the App accurate and working, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the App, or for indirect losses. Our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us for the App in the past twelve months.
Nothing here takes away rights you have by law. If you are a consumer, the laws of the country where you live still protect you, and they win over these terms where the two disagree.
9. Privacy
How the App treats your information is explained in the Mobile App Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the new terms.
